Moisture Sensor

The capacitive moisture sensor measures soil moisture by detecting changes in electrical capacitance. The wetter the soil, the more it influences the electric field, increasing the sensor’s capacitance. Unlike resistive sensors, the metal electrodes do not need to come into direct contact with the soil, which prevents corrosion.

ultrasonic sensor

The ultrasonic sensor measures distance using sound waves. It emits an ultrasonic pulse that is reflected by an object. The sensor measures the time it takes for the echo to return and calculates the distance from it. Since ultrasound travels through air at a constant speed, the rule is: the longer the echo takes, the farther away the object is.
