Boson Start-Kit for Calliope mini 3
The Boson Kit is a practical set of modular electronic building blocks for your Calliope mini. The kit includes eight selected modules that cover the most common digital and analog sensors and actuators and can be easily connected to the Calliope mini. Once you have attached the expansion board to the Calliope mini, you can connect all modules directly using cables.
Please note: Due to production reasons, some Boson Kit boards have a small film attached to the spacers. This film must be removed before screwing the board in place to ensure proper contact.
Coding
The Boson modules can be programmed with MakeCode. Depending on the version, there is also an extension that provides the necessary code blocks to control the individual modules.
The template provides a MakeCode program with the Boson extension already integrated.
Additional variants
For programming with the Calliope mini 2 and the Boson Starter Kit for the Calliope mini 3, a separate expansion board is required. Once it is attached to the Calliope mini, all actuators and sensors can be connected directly via cables.
