25 Programs
To get the overview of the currently installed programs, you have to press the reset button for 5-6 seconds until all 25 LEDs will flash up shortly. As soon as the selection is loaded, you can use the A button to jump to the next program and the B button to the previous one. When you reach the last program, the selection jumps back to the first program. If you press keys A+B at the same time, you open the selected program. You will see the flashing status LED indicating that it is being loaded into the processor. Here you can find all 25 programs in a compressed file, below you can see each program with a little information and instructions.

At the beginning 5 different colors are assigned to a sequence of 10. Then the colors are displayed in the repeating rhythm.
Navigation through 5 different colors × 10
Confirm color. The LED matrix fills up with each confirmed color.
Application
Each color is assigned a movement, such as clapping, turning, squatting, etc. The order of play thus determines the choreography.

9 Metronome

10 Bike light
Application
Hard

The LED automatically starts to light up or goes out when it gets darker or lighter up to a certain percentage.

Switch between day and night mode
Switch to night mode and capture the current brightness.

Night mode
LED is switched on and goes out as soon as it becomes brighter to the specified percentage

11 Thermometer

A thermometer, which is displayed on the LED matrix.

Setting and selection of limit values
Select upper limit value
Selection lower limit value
Display of the current temperature.
Increase or decrease limit value.
Confirm limit value and start temperature measurement.
Temperature measurement
The actual temperature is measured and mapped onto the 25 LEDs between the defined limits.
If the measured temperature exceeds the upper limit values, the RGB LED lights up red and a signal tone is played.
If the measured temperature falls below the lower limit values, the RGB LED lights up red and a signal tone is played.

12 Light
Application
Easy

An alarm clock when the room lights up in the morning.

Threshold brightness selection
Increase or decrease threshold value in steps of 20.
Confirm threshold value
The maximum brightness value is 255.
Assignment of the signal tone
Sound selection
Confirm sound and start measurement.
Light measurement
Measures and displays the current brightness.
If the measured brightness exceeds the pre-defined threshold value, a signal sounds.

13 Nim
Game
Hard

In changing moves, the player or the Calliope mini subtracts 1-3 from the rest. Whoever reaches 0 at the end of the game wins.

A dot is displayed, which moves back and forth depending on its position on the LED matrix.
Point is centered and Calliope mini is balanced.
Point not centered and Calliope mini is tilted.

15 Rock Paper Scissors

Function
If you shake the Calliope mini 3 times in a row, a random character appears (rock, paper, scissors).
Goes on and off after each move to keep two moves with identical symbols apart.

16 Snap the dot

Snap the dot when it is in the middle of the display.

Rules
Control the falling blocks to the left and right.
5 blocks in a row dissolve the row and there is a point.
If a column is full, you have lost. The number of points is displayed.
After each resolved row, the falling blocks become faster.

18 Pedometer

The Calliope mini counts every shake, such as steps, jumps, etc.

Function
Starts the pedometer
Counts the steps once the Calliope is shaken.
Switches the step counter off and displays the counted steps/jumps.

19 Click counter

Easy

With the click counter you can count cars, people and many more.

20 Remote navigation

21 Battleships
Team game
Hard

The goal is to hit all ships of the enemy. There are different game stages, which are indicated by the LED color. See more detailed project description here: Battleships project

Set ships
Vertical navigation: Increases the y-value by 1 × 5
Horizontal navigation: Increases the x-value by 1.
Place ship. After all ships have been placed the player goes into attack mode.
Shows the position of the set ships.
The LED flashes, where a ship has already been set.
Attack
Vertical navigation: Increases the y-value by 1
Horizontal navigation: Increases the x value by 1
Fire a shot
Long glow: Hit
short glow: Shot in the water
Blinken Schon angegriffen
If you get a hit, it's your turn again, otherwise it's your opponent's turn again.
Defence
There is not much you can do in this turn but wait for your opponent to attack.
End of the match
When all ships of a player have been sunk, the game ends.

25 Calliope mini demo
